Renowned and successful Electrical Consultant in western Maharashtra
Mr Gajanan Deuskar is a well-known and influential electrical consultant in western Maharashtra. He studied electrical engineering at the Government Polytechnique Pune in 1961. After finishing his diploma, he went to Mumbai to search for his luck and worked for three years at CPWD and then finally bagged a prestigious job at IIT Powai, a well-known educational institution. His journey as an electrical contractor started in Kolhapur.
With his hard work and determination, he made this venture quite successful. He also received a government permit for the same, which was definitely a big deal in old times. He started out doing some work for the PWD department and then went on to bigger ventures like the Menon Group of Industries and the Bhogawti Sugar Factory.
Mr. R S (Nana) Beri, a well-known architect, saw his potential and offered him a role as an electrical consultant with his firm. This proved to be a watershed moment in his professional life. He deferred contracting duties to others and put a greater focus on consulting. He has served as an ‘Electrical Consultant' for several residential townships, commercial, institutional, and industrial projects, hospitals, and hotels over the last 45+ years. One of his phenomenal achievements includes his service as the secretary of the Architects and Engineers Association and Founder Secretory of Deccan Institute of Technology, a well known educational institute for vocational courses.
Mr. Upendra Deuskar
Mr Deuskar is an electrical engineering graduate from the reputed Walchand College of Engineering, which is located in the city of Sangli. Alongside he acquired an MBA degree which shows his hunger for knowledge and wisdom. He entered the professional world as an engineer for his father's business-Anand Electricals. After gaining enough experience, Mr. Deuskar began working as an electrical consultant for a variety of industries. Mr. Upendra became a BEE certified energy auditor in 2006, and in January 2008, he formed Upendra Deuskar and Associates, a company that specializes in energy auditing and chartered engineering services.
Over the past 25 years, he has worked as an electrical consultant and energy inspector on several projects, both residential and commercial. Mr Upendra Deuskar was the first-ever energy auditor certified by the National Productivity Council in Western Maharashtra and North Karnataka.
The highly prestigious “Best Engineer” award have been bestowed upon him by the Institution of Engineers. He is also a corporate member of Consulting Electrical Engineers Associationof Maharashtra (CEEMA). He is a socially responsible man and takes it as his obligation to serve the society. He is an active member of Rotary Club of Kolhapur. He has also rendered social services as a visiting faculty in some institutes and colleges.
